Social Media Coordinator

Position Overview

At Paradigm Digital Group, we are seeking a paid Social Media Coordinator to add to our team in Fishers, IN! As an entry-level candidate, you will be exposed to various marketing channels across multiple clients.

You will work closely with the Social SEO Manager, Content Strategists, and Video department to execute day-to-day social media operations: building posts, scheduling content, managing assets, coordinating approvals, monitoring activity, and helping ensure every client’s social presence stays consistent, active, and on brand for digital assets across all platforms. You will also assist with video content upload on YouTube along with SEO optimization of titles, descriptions, etc. If you are ready to take your skill set to the next level, we’d love to work with you!

Job Responsibilities

Content Production & Assembly (Execution)

  • Turn approved strategies and content plans into actual posts.
  • Write first-draft captions based on templates, briefs, or content guidelines.
  • Format posts for different platforms (FB, IG, GMB, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Resize/crop images or prep short videos using templates.
  • Pull approved assets from LingoDAM / Dropbox / client folders.
  • Execute weekly or monthly content calendars for review.

Think: “Take the plan and build the posts.”

Scheduling & Publishing

  • Schedule posts in Hootsuite.
  • Ensure correct messaging, dates, times, links, hashtags, and tagging.
  • Double-check branding, grammar, formatting, and platform requirements (alt text, SEO, etc.).
  • Maintain posting consistency across all assigned accounts.
  • Handle simple reposts, evergreen content, and recurring campaigns (open houses, graduates, etc.).

Think: “Make sure nothing is late, broken, or missing.”

Workflow & Client Coordination Support

  • Route content for internal approval (Social SEO Manager, Content, Design, etc.).
  • Track approvals and revisions.
  • Apply edits and finalize posts.
  • Keep ClickUp tasks updated.
  • Flag delays, missing assets, or bottlenecks early.

Think: “Keep the assembly line moving between content, video, and social.”

Monitoring

  • Monitor comments and messages for spam, obvious questions, reputation issues – negative reviews.
  • Escalate anything sensitive to the Social SEO Manager.
  • Apply pre-approved reply templates when appropriate.

Think: “Front desk, not customer support.”

Asset & Library Management

  • Keep client asset folders organized working with the Digital Brand & Design Specialist.
  • Tag and label content properly to upload to LingoDAM.
  • Maintain content libraries in HootSuite for reuse.

Think: “Digital librarian.”

Job Requirements

  • Four-year degree, BA degree preferred, related to the marketing industry.
  • Proficient with social media management in FB, IG, TW, GMB, LinkedIn, and YouTube (draft, schedule, post, reply) (Posts comprise photos or videos).
  • Familiar with the use of Hootsuite or similar social media management platform.
  • Excellent writing skills that are engaging and detail-oriented
  • Strong interest and adaptation to AI tools, such as Claude, ChatGPT, to aid in content writing and responding to reviews.
  • Very proficient with Canva and graphics.
  • Must have proficient computer skills using Mac-based desktop applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Office 365 products.
  • Work “in-person” Monday through Friday.
  • Able to drive to Fishers, IN office @ 96th & 69 – this is not remote or hybrid!

  • Prefers a smaller team (14-16 people) to be exposed to many aspects of marketing in a few short months yet enjoys a larger workforce community.
  • Proven self-starter eager to take on new challenges independently at a fast pace, while also enjoying collaborating with a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and multitask multiple clients, multiple projects.
  • Acute attention to detail and lifelong learner.
  • Great attitude and strong work ethic and do what it takes to get things done.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with other personalities and work styles.
  • Understands the online community and can provide insight into the current platforms and any up-and-coming trends that would enhance client brand image.
