Position Overview

At Paradigm Digital Group, we are seeking a paid Social Media & Digital Content Intern to add to our team starting mid-May or even sooner! You will be exposed to various marketing channels across multiple clients as a candidate. You will work closely with our account managers to plan, create, and execute social media management, prepare digital assets across all platforms, and write content copy as needed. You may also assist with email campaigns during the internship’s last half. All this to say, you will not be stuck doing the same daily tasks! We are a full-service marketing agency providing our clients with website redesign, marketing strategy, local SEO, content writing, PPC, email marketing, social media management, and video production, to name a few. PDG has over 35 years of experience. We provide our clients with expertise in all advertising and marketing disciplines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Digital Marketing Specialists (DMS) with social media and content creation
  • Schedule and publish social media content for multiple clients
  • Track and monitor all social media sources, promotions, and events and provide feedback for sources that are not performing
  • Collect and analyze social media analytics on a weekly basis with Digital Marketing Specialists for each brand
  • Make changes as needed to help grow followers and engagements
  • Perform research on various blog topics
  • Write blog content to be published on client websites

Job Requirements

  • As of Spring 2024, you have completed your sophomore or junior year of college
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a marketing or communications concentration or a related field
  • Proficient with social media management in FB, IG, TW, GMB, and LinkedIn (draft, schedule, post, reply) (Posts comprise photos or videos)
  • Excellent writing skills that are engaging and detail-oriented
  • Very proficient with Canva
  • Must have proficient computer skills using Mac-based desktop applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Office 365 products
  • Familiar with email platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, or similar email client is a plus!
  • Able to work Monday through Friday, May – August
  • Able to drive to Fishers, IN office – this is not remote!
  • Previous internship experience in a related field is a plus!

  • Wants exposure to a digital marketing agency and multiple client brands vs. just one company brand
  • Prefers a smaller team (12-15 people) to be exposed to many aspects of marketing in a few short months, yet enjoys a larger workforce community
  • Proven self-starter eager to pursue new challenges independently but also  enjoys collaborating with a team
  • Ability to learn quickly and multitask multiple projects
  • Acute attention to detail and lifelong learner
  • Great attitude and strong work ethic! Do what it takes to get things done
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with other personalities
  • Understands the online community and can provide insight into the current platforms and any up-and-coming trends that would enhance client brand image
