Career analyst Cynthia Shapiro says in the article that health care employers are hiring three times more employees than any other industry out there. A heavier dependency on the pharmacy field has quickly increased the demand for trained technicians.
Perhaps the most unique part about this stable career is the small amount of schooling required. Those interested in becoming a successful pharmacy technician need just a certificate or associates degree in pharmacy technology. These programs usually take only two years maximum to complete, which is a relief for those eager to start earning income quickly without digging themselves into a deep hole of student loans.
