It’s easy for the unemployed to get caught up in the blanket of negativity hovering over today’s economy. More college graduates are without jobs and in deep debt than ever before.  Taxes are rising and old, unnecessary industries are closing. Yet- there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I recently read refreshing article from Yahoo revealing the sky high potential for six different occupations.

It was encouraging and somewhat surprising to read about some positivity concerning the job market. These explosive industries are hiring at a much higher pace than the majority of other fields, and are predicted to rapidly grow for years to come.

Aside from that, what stood out most to me was that 4 out of the 6 featured careers are staples in the career college industry.

One example of these promising occupations is a job as a pharmacy technician. Career analyst Cynthia Shapiro says in the article that health care employers are hiring three times more employees than any other industry out there. A heavier dependency on the pharmacy field has quickly increased the demand for trained technicians.

Perhaps the most unique part about this stable career is the small amount of schooling required. Those interested in becoming a successful pharmacy technician need just a certificate or associates degree in pharmacy technology. These programs usually take only two years maximum to complete, which is a relief for those eager to start earning income quickly without digging themselves into a deep hole of student loans.

Take a look at the entire article for the rest of the list. Some of the careers might surprise you!
